This old image hall in the Lanna Thai style built by Kentung artisans (Myanmar) is adorned with intricate patterns. The gable and door arch are made of brick and decorated with stucco relief of the authentic Lanna style animal figures. The chedi here is Lanna style and the Lord Buddha’s relics are believed to be enshrined there. The eaves brackets at the Rong Tham preaching hall is also Lanna in style and has fascinating designs. There is a museum of Lanna artefacts with an ancient palm leaf scripture of the Lanna Kingdom dating over half a millennia inscribed with Tai Nuea letters in Pali.
