Housing a nearly 30 metre walking Buddha image, this temple affords a very impressive sight for those driving along Highway 11 (kilometre 77). Hard to miss, this is the largest and tallest Buddha image in the north of Thailand built through people’s donations in 1995 to give merit to His Majesty the King on the occasion of his Golden Jubilee. HM named the Buddha image Phra Phutta Chaloem Sirirat.
