Set in Muang Nga sub-district, this temple is ancient and believed to have been one of the earliest Buddhist temples still standing ever built in the Lanna Kingdom. It is also considered one of the top five most beautiful temples in Thailand as it features some incredible architecture and decorative wood and works and carvings. The main viharn houses a sacred green emerald Buddha statute.
