Phra That Doi Hang Bat

A white pagoda with four porches and topped with a gilded Chantra-parasol, this temple has no known origin, but is believed by legend to have received a visit from the Lord Buddha himself. In the local dialect, hang bat refers to monks preparing their alms bowls, echoing the belief that the Buddha did so here in this location before seeking alms when once he was said to visit this area. This temple offers panoramic views of the surrounding area.
