Phra Phutthabat Huai Tom Temple

The largest temple in Li district, this temple has a commanding statue at its entrance of Phra Kruba Chaiyawongsa Phatthana, a famous monk who built the temple by soliciting donations from Karen hill tribes in the area. The buildings are built of laterite dug from the well behind the temple. Each year in December the Karen villagers come and hold a festival at the temple with various traditional games and activities.
