Found in the Nong Dok public park a mere one kilometre from the Provincial Hall, the monument of Hariphunchai’s Queen Chamadevi was erected to honour the highly revered monarch who was renowned for her just rule, her bravery and her devotion to Buddhism and culture, both of which are still thriving in the province today.
His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn officially celebrated the unveiling of the monument on the 2nd October 1982.
