Built during the reign of HM King Rama V by a Burmese national who came to work in Lampang’s logging business, the temple has a golden-yellow pagoda where Buddha’s relics are believed to be enshrined after being moved from Burma. The abbot at this temple is traditionally a monk from Myanmar’s Mandalay.
